Yoga props

Yoga props help the user get into and hold particular yoga poses. Because some of them require initially uncomfortable movements and muscle control, props will help one get into the proper positioning and learn how the body needs to feel in order to hold the pose. Props can help provide support until the yoga pose is perfected the muscles and breathing are able to be controlled on their own.

Yoga props consist of things like blocks, bolsters, ropes, and sandbags. They can be used to support the body as it leans against them. Things like ropes and straps can provide resistance to the body as it stretches and settles in place.

Yoga props are used by beginners and experts alike. As the student learns more about yoga, the body and mind are required to stretch further, sometimes requiring the need for props to teach and hold postures. Props can be found in a variety of materials and colors, suitable for most anyone's tastes.
